Real estate transactions that involve former industrial properties require an expert on your team to navigate pollution risk, whether actual or presumed, interpreting the difference between a regulatory statute and a recommended screening level. Environmental cost estimates are provided which are used to negotiate for the purchase or sale of these properties.
It has been estimated that there will be a greater strain on all fresh water. Therefore, keeping these waters free of contaminants is a key priority of the CMH team. CMH has developed an integrated, full-service water treatment capability that enables us to respond to our customers’ requirements in a coordinated, consistent, and a cost-effective manner. We know the difference between reality and wishful thinking. CMH’s services include project management and construction, engineering, design, and technical support. We provide a turnkey technical support, including conceptual studies, treatability studies, design, permitting, installation, regulatory compliance, and startup and training.
Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste stream consulting/profiling, loading and disposal. Site assessment drill cuttings and groundwater in drums and odd-lot, and unmarked drums are no longer a problem.
For wastewater with tough inorganic hazardous substances, let CMH perform treatability evaluation studies to identify, design, install and maintain a permanent batch treatment system rendering your waste non hazardous or in most cases suitable for sanitary sewer discharge.
For waste oil, oily sludge and other organic water waste streams currently being hauled to a disposal/recycling facility, CMH’s, The Nature Tank bioremediation process can be utilized to digest and metabolize these and other liquid petroleum hydrocarbons. As part of the manufacturing process, a bio-digester is set up to manage from 10 to 1,000,000 gallons of water per day.
Utilizing naturally occurring species (sometimes mixed with petroleum hydrocarbon degrader enhancing species) virtually any petroleum hydrocarbon constituent (including pesticides and polychlorinated biphenyl’s (PCB)) can be digested with the right ratio of microorganisms to nutrients. A bio treatability evaluation is often in order for fixed price remediation. This includes on-site and In-situ Heavy Metals Remediation utilizing state-of-the-art remediation technology.
CMH is insurable for up to $10,000,000 projects and offers complete site restoration and demolition services of buildings, manufacturing plants, and oilfields. Each project is conducted with a contemporary understanding of the environmental liabilities at each restoration site. Prior projects include San Onofre Nuclear Generation Station, Terminex Los Angeles, Riverside Raceway, Los Angeles Port Westway Terminal, Chevron Bulk Terminal San Diego, Alcoa Vernon, General Motors Van Nuys, Kaiser Fontana and many Shell, Texaco, Unocal and Standard Oil Chevron) and Private owner Oil Fields.
Air and water born biological hazardous diseases impacting human health risk are now a board room topic of concern. Pathogenic organism decontamination and filtration is another area of CMH interest. Throughout the “pandemic,” CMH has provided advice to business managers on risk aversion strategies.
